Making Life Your Workout: A Practical Guide To Posture

A video-based course to improve your posture and movement patterns lead by physiotherapist Brent Stevenson and Pilates instructor Tiffany Johns

Brent Stevenson

Do you want to exercise but you are afraid you are going to hurt yourself? Are you hypermobile, or loose jointed? Do you want to improve your posture and movement patterns, but don't know where to start?

Good posture and movement is not just about getting stronger, it is about understanding how you are using your body to deal with gravity throughout the day in functional movements like getting out of a chair, lifting laundry baskets, going up and down the stairs, pushing shopping carts and pulling kids up off the floor. Strength is important, but you first need to approach it as a skilled movement and then progressively attempt heavier and more physical challenges.

Hypermobile or loose jointed individuals have the hardest time dealing with gravity because it is a much harder biomechanical task to coordinate and stack up all their moving parts. This course is designed and demonstrated by a hypermobile, 6'5" physiotherapist and a equally loose jointed ballerina, Kinesiologist, Pilates instructor.

The full course with videos, downloads and audiobook tracts is available here for $50.
